The Big Brother Naija Season 10 triple eviction of Big Soso, Ivatar, and Doris, all female, on Sunday has kept the social media space seething with emotions and gender-based remarks with some commentators inferring that women are not supporting women.
All three evictees on Sunday were female prompting some persons to say it showed a pattern in Nigeria where women do not support women.
Some claimed that whereas most of the viewers and addicts of BBNaija were female, they could not unite to keep their gender in the show.
Big Soso was the first to be evicted, followed later by Ivatar and then Doris. Some fans of BBNaija who were not gender biased said they were happy with Big Soso’s eviction chiefly for her open and secret attacks on Dede, another female housemate who seems to have a huge fan base of admirers cutting across gender.
The eviction of Doris also drew surprises from commentators who thought she has been giving enough vibes to keep her in the show.
Their eviction came one week of reprieve as the organisers did not evict any housemate the previous Sunday.
