S&P revises Nigeria’s outlook to ‘positive’ on economic reforms

S&P Global Ratings said on Friday it has revised its outlook on Nigeria to “positive” from “stable”.

S&P’s rating was based on the monetary, economic and fiscal reforms being implemented by Nigerian authorities, “which are expected to yield positive benefits over the medium term.

The agency affirmed the country’s rating at “B-/B”.
